San Diego Maritime Museum Weddings — A One-of-a-Kind Waterfront Venue

The Maritime Museum of San Diego is one of the most unique wedding and event venues on the West Coast — a working collection of historic tall ships docked right on San Diego Bay. The museum's fleet includes the Californian, California's official state tall ship, along with the Star of India — the world's oldest active sailing vessel — and the Berkeley, an 1898 steam ferry often used for receptions. Couples can say their vows on deck under full rigging, get ready in the historic quarters below, and dance the night away against a backdrop of San Diego Bay lit up at dusk. It's a setting that photographs like nowhere else in the city: weathered wood, tall masts, string lights, and open water in every direction.
